Parece que o universo de Alien continua a dar que falar, ou melhor dizendo, produzir. A 20th Century Games está a trabalhar com o estúdio Survios numa nova colaboração para desenvolver um jogo de horror intenso e de acção para um jogador.
Este projecto ainda sem título oficial trará uma história original cronologicamente colocada entre os dois primeiros filmes “Alien” e “Aliens”, onde um veterano da batalha decide vingar-se dos Xenomorphs. A equipa da Survios é especialista em criar experiências autênticas e imersivas, algo que promete quando emparelhado com o motor de jogo Unreal Engine 5.
Não há muito mais informação acerca do novo projecto, senão que já foi confirmado como previsto chegar ao PC, consolas e realidade virtual. Fica também a promessa de que mais será revelado na Comic Con de San Diego, no painel “ALIEN: Expanding a Dark and Frightening Universe” entre as 14h e 15h locais (22h-23h em Portugal Continental).
Há já diversos jogos que nos transportam ao universo arrepiante onde ninguém nos ouve gritar, como “Aliens: Colonial Marines”, o mais recente lançamento “Aliens: Fireteam”, e o aclamado “Alien: Isolation” – estes dois últimos disponíveis no Game Pass. Muitos fãs pedem a sequela de “Isolation”, que foi também apreciado pela crítica. Será este um “Alien: Isolation” 2 disfarçado, ou algo completamente diferente?
Num futuro próximo, além do novo projecto desta nova parceria, vale lembrar que a Focus Entertainment e Tindalos Interactive estão a trabalhar para trazer um jogo mais estratégico com “Aliens: Dark Descent”.
